How do I eliminate unwanted email going into my spam folder?

I delete or unsubscribe each note, but they just keep coming. How can I stop this? Also, should I delete each note in my unsubscribe folder?

This is an email / webmail problem rather than something about Firefox.

Sometimes responding to spam is a bad idea, it confirms your address as valid, rather than having the intended effect of un-subscribing, it can result in even more spam. With a reputable company unsubscribing should work.

You may be able to filter webmail to certain folders, or even delete it automatically see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_filtering
