new tab created but not opens

firefox 6.0.2 win7 64bit home premium using extensions "new tab homepage" 0.4.3 "new tabs at the end" 1.0 I click "+" for new tab. new tab is created with the home page name written on it. but it doesnt open automatically. I need to click the tab to see it. I found a "open new tabs and jump to new tab" on settings. but it works if you click a link "open in new tab" I want to "new tab opens automatically"
