Printed material has unreadable text when using Firefox. No problem when using internet explorer.

I cannot print anything readable when using Firefox. Doesn't matter is it's from email or websites. Text is a combination of letters and symbols. Rarely formed words. I am printing to a Kyocera KM-1650. This does not happen with Internet Explorer so the copier people think it is a Firefox issue. My computer does not work well with Explorer and I prefer Firefox.
