I am a developer and a client said she was using FF6.0.2 on a mac. I assumed she was mistaken, since that is a Windows version of Firefox... or is it?? I found a version of FF6.0.2 for mac on macupdate and cnet. What are the differences between these versions so that I may be aware in the future?

Mac OS X 10.4 user, and Mac OS X 10.5 users without Intel cannot upgrade to Firefox 4 or above. Firefox 4 is not supported. Firefox 3.6.22 and Firefox 6.0.2 are current.

Another reason though Macs are probably not generally supported on large corporate enterprises is that companies have to verify systems before rolling out to several thousand users and may take a year to do so, they cannot cope with versions above 3.6.* except for a few users on their own.
