I have used cc cleaner and avg to clean up the computer. When I am using any search engine, I will click on a link. The link will take me to a random site versus where the actual link. I have to copy and paste the url in order to get to the site that I want to.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
