Firefox keeps crashing every few minutes, so I have tried troubleshooting it with your list, It does not crash in SAFE MODE. I have unchecked the hardware acceleration in the step one. Then restarted it. It did fine for a few minutes but when I signed out of one gmail account and tried to sign into another gmail account it crashed again. So I went to the next step. I went to the the ADD-ONs, but as soon as I clicked on it so I could select the appearance it would shut down, I tried this several times with the same result.

Were you in Safe mode when the crash on Google occurred and when you had the problem with the Add-ons manager?

Hi cor-el, thanks for your response. I heard back yesterday evening from one of the crash reports that got sent from my computer and once I deleted the program that was causing the issue I have not had another problem so apparently that was the problem. Thanks though. See their response below.

"Your crash was caused by the IdVault security software. This is also known as Comcast or Xfinity Constant Guard and possibly by other names. A recent update to their product now causes Firefox to crash when loading pages.

IdVault is working on fixing this problem. In the meantime, to be able to use Firefox, you can uninstall IdVault or Constant Guard and then restart your computer.
