I lost my firefox desktop icon and can't figure out how to get it back

my firefox home page is still the same. all my bookmarks,favorites, etc. and the icon still shows up on the bottom of the screen. But mozilla firefox isn't in my programs and the icon isn't with my other desktop icons. So i can't open other firefox screens at the same time.
