FF 5 suddenly stopped following live links in my email and back one page function also stopped working. How to fix???

Initially, FF 5 did not have the following problems. o Suddenly stopped following live link from email. A page opens, but the address bar reads "Go to a Web Site." o The "go back one page" stopped working yesterday. o Customization of the tool bars - tool bars only set up as customized upon opening the first FF window. Doesn't work after that.
