When I type an address on the space to connect to a page (www. etc.) and press Enter, nothing happens! I cannot go to any place! This is on my Netbook. What can I do? Please, advise.

That is a symptom of "AVG Free" extension, where nothing works from the location bar, but you can access via bookmarks, and menus. If you have the extension, at least disable it until you can really get rid of it properly, by reinstalling "AVG Free" without the Link Scanner -- directions in
