How can I get rid of the pop up page?

When I do a search in google, a window pops up that says logging:LOGGING. At the top of the window it says logging: - mozilla firefox. This only happens when I'm using google with firefox. This doesn't occur with the IE browser or with other engines used in firefox.

Install this Add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

Click OK to subscribe to "Easylist" which you'll see during the installation and then after Firefox restarts, go to the Adblock Plus subscription site @ https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions and subscribe to Malware Domains. You'll find it at the foot of the page in the section called "Miscellaneous".

Adblock Plus will block around 98% of ads and popups on the Web. If in the unlikely event that your problem falls into the other 2% category, please see this article: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Popups_not_blocked

adblockplus did NOT solve the problem for me.

any other ideas?
