Everything looks blurry and also works very slowly after graphics drivers were updated. Other applications or browsers were unaffected.
Another issue that has been ever present since before this problem started is that the browser "freezes" for half a second or two while changing/reloading tabs if there are connection problems to certain sites.

Sorry, no dice. Problem still persists. I've even re-updated my graphics drivers again.
Oddly, when no graphics drivers are installed (in between driver installs) firefox works normally (except for the freezing during tab reload/switching). However, this is not a preferred solution as I need my graphics drivers installed. Firefox had worked normally while the old drivers were installed but the problem still persists after reverting from new drivers.
Attached image shows how everything looks blurred on Firefox 5 compared to another browser. While FF is open everything slows down to a crawl as if I'm running on only 32mb of RAM.

Excellent, that solved it. Thanks for the help!
