i dont know how to TEMPORARY dissable my mozilla firefox so that i can install a flash player and then put it back so i can do things on my computer which i cand do otherewise do

You don't need to disable Firefox - just close it.

X in the top right corner, or

File>Exit

You could try copying the Flash plugin file to Firefox's plugins subdirectory in the application directory.

Go to this address with Firefox and Save the installer to your hard drive: get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Close Firefox (File > Exit)
Click/double-click the installer you downloaded
On the installer window click on the box on the left side "I have read and agree to the terms"
Click the Install button (lights up after previous step)
