Firefox 4.01 launching new windows instead of new tabs

more options

Exactly as described above. Firefox (4.01) is set to open new tabs when clicking on links, but yesterday it started opening a new window every time I clicked on a link.

Checked the settings, and they're still correct. Also, despite having disabled the Java behaviour that allows window resizing, that has started happening as well (when I clicked on a BBC Podcast URL, which should have opened in a new tab, but opened a new and resized window instead).

None of this used to happen with version 3.x.

Thanks to anyone who can provide fixes.

Cheers.

The Firefox option is to open links that should open in a new window into a new tab instead (not just any links). Sites do change please update your question with the actual urls so others can see/test for themselves.
