I run windows 7 on a large lcd tv, since i updated to firefox 4 my web pages are very small and only take up the centre of the screen. there was no problem with the old version.

Resize Firefox to the size you want, then hold down CTRL while you click the Close button (the "X").

It should retain that size the next time you open it.

I got the impression the opening poster was saying that the browser window was too small rather than its contents, but I might be wrong.
