How can copy files into an FTP site

In internet explorer when I go to an FTP site I can access a drop down menu that has an option to "open FTP site in internet explorer". This allows me to go to a folder on my hard drive, copy a file, navigate back to the FTP site and past the file to the FTP site. Can I do this with firefox? I am using version 4.0.1
