What script should I add to userChrome of FireFox 3.6 to block or partially disable "ALERT" pop-ups? Or any better solution?
Some web sites have been abusing JavaScript: alert() to try to sell something, f.e.: http://software-sulv.co.cc is trying to full their visitors that they have a Trojan in their computer, and offering them to remove the non-existing Trojan etc...

Try:
- AlertCheck: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/13176/
I do not want to add another addon to my 3.6 cause I heard in 4.0 “alert” works differently. I am waiting for a while until down loading 4.0. + it would be better to learn more about userChrome as it may come handy with 4.0 too. I have to many addons already.
Thank u for answering. Alex11
