How do I get FireFox 3.6 back to my computer now, as 4.0 is not apparently compatible with my eMac that is still being driven by PowerPC, so I was defaulted back to FireFox 2.0? :I'm peterlatorre@frontier.com
I was prompted by Moxilla to upgrade from FireFox 3.6 to 4.0 about a week ago, and when I tried things gradually went bad over a few hours, probably due to something I did. I lost FireFox 3.6 entirely (and have no backup). I do still have the download app from 1.5 and 2.0, so I am currently reload 2.0 every morning so that I can go online. Maybe if I had a phone number for Moxzilla, they could arrange for me to be able to go back to FireFox 3.6??

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Mozilla are working to prevent Mac users with non-compatible systems from getting the notification about Firefox 4, and also not displaying the "Download Firefox 4" button on http://www.mozilla.com
Tony, Thank you very much. Your help did solve my problem!!
I first tried the site at .....firefox/all-older.html, but that was a dead end, as the first page provided no options or second page/continue buttons or outlets.
However when I went to the ......tenfourfox site, followed their info and advice, and then downloaded their modified version of version 4.0, it downloaded well. And it now seems like my eMac is back to it's old self, and running FireFox), but I am really using tenfourfox 4.0. However, it looks and acts the same as my old FireFox 3.6.
Thanks again, Pete La Torre
Version 4 does not help at all. In fact, it is a pain. Why change everything with no hint that it will be worse? I'm looking for a way toi get rid of version 4 or even back to explorer.
