When I choose a persona, nothing seems to change.
The web page says to roll over to try but nothing changes. When I click a persona nothing significant seems to change on the firefox page. What should I see?

Click on the persona and then click Wear This Persona to see the change.
You can remove if you don't like from the addons manager.
