My hyper links in emails do not open in Firefox as they once did.

Until the last week, every hyperlink in emails, enews, enewspapers, et al opened when I double-clicked them in Firefox 3.6.

Now, no clicking on these links opens on the web. Can not figure out where the settings are that could correct this.
