This message comes up every time I start Firefox. I have reloaded and upgraded and it still comes up every time. On occasion Firefox has failed -Not responding- and had to be closed and restarted. How can I fix this.

That type of error is usually caused by a malfunctioning add-on, possibly the video bash toolbar.
If you have the video bash toolbar try disabling it, if you do not have that one, follow the procedure in the following link to identify what add-on is causing this - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
