My keyboard is no longer typing correctly when I am writing in any online web server with lost text and different letters appearing randomly with use of Firefox and Windows Vista

I just reinstalled HD. Problem does not appear when I type in OpenOffice Writer (my laptop word processing software program). I asked same question to Microsoft.

It is possible that you are switching the keyboard layout by accident.

  • Make sure that you have the Language bar visible on the Windows Taskbar.
  • You can do that via the right-click context menu of the Taskbar: Toolbars > Language Bar.

This solution did not work. When I went into Taskbar: Toolbars, I only saw these choices: Address Windows Media Player Links Tablet PC Input Panel Desktop Quick Launch (checked) New Toolbar

I tried looking elsewhere in Task Manager but could not find the language bar. I then went into control panel and found an option to change language, but once inside it, I could not find any choices regarding the language bar itself.

Any further suggestions?
