I bookmark a page, but it fails to apper in "organize" nor can I call itup again when I click on "B ookmarks"

I have used Firefox for several years. Recently 2 problems surfaced. 1. I try to bookmark a page, but it fails to show up either in "Organize" e.g. the Library, nor does it appear when I click on "Bookmarks" and look for it in the folder where I had bookmarked it. It shows up nowhere.

2. When I try to print a page, it prints in miniature form spread over several pages. The same page prints fine from Internet Explorer
