I need to remove Firefox, but when I go to control panel - add/remove programs and click on it nothing happens.

I've been having lots of trouble with both Firefox and IE not loading pages, so I decided to uninstall both and then reinstall. I could not uninstall either of them from Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. When I clicked on them nothing happened. I found info for IE on the net but I still can't uninstall Firefox. I want to uninstall, then reinstall it. Thanks.
