Why does ctrl+shift+t many times open a random tab instead of the latest closed tab?

That's it, sometimes (I can't precise what causes it) when I dpressctrl+shift+t, firefox instead of undoing closed tabs, open a tab with a random website I visited some time ago. Like right now, I opened a tab with google and then closed, I then pressed ctrl+alt+t and it opened facebook, wich is a site I had opened like 10 pages ago

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js to prevent Firefox from restoring a previous session.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Session_Restore

I don't want to prevent Firefox from restoring previous sessions....

It is possible that you have security software that is restoring an older version of the file sessionstore.js.

I wasn't suggesting to disable sessionrestore, only to delete those two files in case that there is a problem with the current versions of those files.

Thank you. I'll try that when it happens again and report the result
