When I try to bookmark a web page, Firefox will frequently save the bookmark to the default location, before I have finished typing the description

To bookmark a page, I click on the BOOKMARK menu, then click on BOOKMARK THIS PAGE. I start typing the description of the page in the NAME field.

Frequently, before I can finish typing the description, Firefox will close the popup window, saving the bookmark to the default location. At this point, I repeat the procedure to add a bookmark, finish typing the description, and specify the correct folder location.
