When will you just fix this annoying typing cursor problem?!

It never ever stops to flash like I am in Microsoft Word and I am about to type in something YET I CANNOT type because it is a webpage... My point is if I click somewhere the typing cursor appers and hides every second! It even blinks around some big pictures.

To stop it press F7

You are in caret browsing mode, pressing F7 toggles that mode on & off.

Thanks a lot! Problem solved :). I recall now that I once activated it not on purpose but didn't noticed it immediately.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
