Resizing Text boxes like in Chrome, is it coming soon?

I use a HelpDesk program that has many text boxes that I have to add information to and would like to be able to resize then like you can in chrome. Is this a feature coming in a future version?

Firefox 4.0 will have a resize attribute (-moz-resize: horizontal|vertical|both) for text fields.
