how do i undo the latest update to a firefox theme ?

i was running an older version of the aquatint theme, i think it was 3.0.2, i really like it, i deliberately did not update and had to run 'override compatiblity' at some stage, it was working fine, until i accidentally updated. Now i've got a slightly different version with small font and a weird google search bar. I want to revert but how ? there's no option in the add-on menu.

There's no way to actually revert to the older version. Un-install the current version and install the older version. You can use View all versions on the AMO page for that theme to obtain the older version you were using.
