When I try to add an attachment Firefox hangs, other functions seem to operate normally.

  • I can send and receive emails normally
  • When I attempt to use the attachment tab, there is some hard disk activity, then the program hangs, before the attachment window appears.
  • Within the last 24 hours, someone has tried to send me a very large attachment which was apparently rejected by the system but this could well be coincidental

Could anyone please advise me why my email 'hangs' when I attempt to load an attachment?
