I have told firefox not to store passwords for a particular site. now I want to add some but I can't make firefox remember them. How do I make the question bar appear so that I can save the information ?

Chosen solution

Open the Options dialog (in the menus select Tools > Options) In the Options dialog select the Security panel. In the Passwords section click on the Exceptions button. If the site is listed there, remove it. You should then be asked to save the password the next time you log into the site.

I have tried this solution many times, but when I click on Exceptions, there is not one site listed, ever!

Does that happen on every side where you try to save a password?
