New security added to Internet; Firefox should now display IDN.com properly
Firefox does not display IDN.com properly. The pretext is that someone could trick English-speakers into visiting similar-looking addresses.
That most of the world speaks other languages, or that foreign sites would like to appeal to users in majority-English countries without having their addresses deformed, is of secondary importance.
But now comes the news of major new security structures. Mozilla now has no excuse and should provide IDN.com support.

I have not been able to replicate your problem. Can you find any other sites that this is an issue on so I can test them out?
Can you attach a screenshot?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (200 KB) and do not click Preview after you have attached the image.
I still can't see IDN.com in my browser
プロテイン.com doesn't display the url properly
Only TLDs that are whitelisted show the IDN instead of the puny code. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/network.IDN.whitelist.*
Create a new Boolean pref: Name: network.IDN.whitelist.com Value: true
