New Download start
Recently I received a message that seemed helpful So I started a fresh download of ThunderBird The post finish of install wizard repopulated all of the prior information possibly preventing in at least testing a different email client.
Q: how to remove the prior information from reappearing again. Following an attempt to delete the previous download ?
- maybe the operating system isnt fast enough
for the latest version

- uninstall thunderbird - delete the 'thunderbird' folder at c:\users\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird - reinstall thunderbird
