Sending through office365 SMTL using 115.8.1 unreliable

After upgrading to 115.8.1 , Tbird will only send immediately after startup, otherwise I get the choice to Save (draft) or abandon.

I have tried changing the various TLS options, and now continue to use the ones that have always historically worked.

What is causing this. Rather inconvenient

As best as I can tell, nothing changed in 115.8.1 that would have affected sending of messages. The bug list is https://mzl.la/3ThIBUj

Problem remains as yet. Strangest thing though.

Main mail service provider is IMAP and SMP Usually, not always, when I attempt a send or reply, it just sits as thought it was hanging..-then when I go to exit from the send I get the option to save (to Drafts) which I do,

The if I exit and after loading Thunderbird again, there is no problem sending the saved draft. All this of course without changing any of the SMTP settings. Iget the same behaviour from my POP providers/


I get this almost always now.
