I've been through all related articles in this forum to try to resolve this issue, as the popup keeps popping up.

This is what I've checked and did; 1- Checked Outgoing server (SMTP) settings - No trace of account there. 2- Produced a 'Troubleshooting Information" report; Nothing under 'Mail and News Accounts' 3- I've deleted my Calendar and made a new one. 4- Got HostGator on the phone and they confirm that my account is close and files deleted.

And it is still not resolved. Anyone knows how to resolve this issue ? Thanks

click 'account settings' and scroll down left sidebar to see if the account is listed there. Sometimes, accounts become hidden from main pane and are only visible here. If found, highlight it, and scroll down slightly further to 'account actions' menu where you can remove it.

I was not referring to SMTP servers.

That error message may also appear if you were using a calendar with the account.

I understand. But If I went to SMTP accounts, I would obviously had seen it if present.

I'm having this problem too & looked in ALL the places. I even went into the program files & deleted everything that has hostgator. Those files repopulated. I don't know where else to look.
