I was having a problem with software I downloaded and to completely remove it I had to revert to an older version windows, FF and TB.

After restoring and updating, I used the extension 'import/ export' to restore my profile BUT all my local folders were lost.

Due to being involved in a legal action, it is extremely important to restore these folders.

Any suggestions on how to recover these files etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx Mike

Chosen solution

If you still have access to the old profile, look in the Mail\Local Folders folder. Most files will be in two names, such as FILE and FILE.mpx. Copy both of those to the Mail\Local Folders folder of the active profile and restart Thunderbird and it should see them there.
