After years of using Thunderbird, I can't get my email now. My program is up to date with the newest version. My passwords are correct. I get the following message after minutes of trying to connect - login to server pop3.frontiernet. com with username (my user name ) failed. I also get - sending of password for user (my user name) did not succeed. Yesterday, it actually connected and downloaded about 30 emails, but hasn't connected since then. Settings must be right if it worked temporarily, so what can the problem be?? Thanks in advance for any help Mary

Try using the Yahoo servers:

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/frontier/SLN4075.html (IMAP settings)

incoming POP: pop.mail.yahoo.com, 995, SSL/TLS, OAuth2 authentication, User Name = email address.

outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com, 465, SSL/TLS, OAuth2 authentication, User Name = email address.

I'm not sure if this matters, but I can send mail, but can't receive it. I am able to receive my mail in Yahoo, but prefer Thunderbird.

Just wanted to let you know that I deleted all messages and now my mail is downloading normally. Thanks for everyone's help!
