When trying to connect my work's screwy dev servers Firefox now shows "Secure Connection Failed" I tried disabling: security.ssl.enable_ocsp_must_staple & security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling I tried removing all addons.

Neither worked. Edge and Chrome work just fine. I can no longer work & test code using Firefox. Please undo what you did! Let me override this issue. Put Scary word on it! Like 'This is dangerous, never press this button' You're forcing me to convert my entire work environment over to Edge. EDGE(!)

Say it aint so!

Unfortunately, "Secure Connection Failed" can mean two completely different things:

(A) Connection failed -- on a secure page -- for mundane reasons (B) A secure connection was not possible for SSL protocol/cipher-related reasons

Does the page show a code similar to SEC_ERROR_SOMETHING ? That would provide a clue to the source of the problem. (See also: How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites)

Does this server support a secure HTTPS connection as some domains are on the HSTS preload list and a secure connection is forced ?
