Make tabs bar and search bar easier to see

I am trying to make Firefox my default browser, but the view for v. 111 (maybe 110?) is really driving me crazy. I need to see lines between my tabs, I need lines on the search bar, I need the active tab to be highlighted. This request makes me feel very persnickety, but I have hit major pain points since Windows 10 and I need everything to be as painless as possible. If you need an idea for a new extension, TextBlaze on Chrome is invaluable and another reason I have hesitated defaulting to Firefox.

You can change your theme to one that has more contrast for the active tab, but themes are not able to add lines between the background tabs. Sine this changed in Firefox 89, I've gotten used to thinking of the site icon as a kind of implicit divider, but I know that isn't working for everyone.

Regarding lines on the search bar, do you mean in the drop-down, separators between suggested matches? Hmm, I can't think of any setting for that, either.

There is an unofficial (not officially supported) method to modify the user interface, which involves creating a userChrome.css file and using CSS rules to restyle things. For example, you can add borders where you need lines. If that is something you might want to look into, let me know.

TextBlaze looks a little faster to use than Clippings, which requires either going through a right-click context menu list or a keyboard shortcut.

TextBlaze said porting their add-on to Firefox was high on their list of priorities in October 2021, but... not yet, I guess.

Oh wait, this costs money? Hmm...
