Firefox appears to be impacting internet stability & voip/video calls

So starting yesterday (potentially with the v110 updated?) I began to notice some issues with my network that were most noticeable when on voice/video calls. As I do work remotely, this obviously has become quite a problem and I have needed to shift towards Edge and/or teams just to take these calls. It essentially reaches the point where I cannot use video nor talk.

When checking task manager, firefox also seems to be eating up a larger portion of the CPU and Memory than it has previously. This of course extends if I were to use another tool, such as Skype, for a video call. When closing out of firefox completely, I can use skype or edge video calls without any trouble. However, only while firefox is running, I seem to have trouble with the connection.

All other browsers seem to work without trouble. Image 1 find a speed test for firefox and notice the obvious dip midway for both download and upload.

Image 2 is the speed test when using edge.

The only difference between the speed test is the browser. All background programs and tabs within the browser remained the same. I loaded all tabs and waited 15 minutes before performing each speed test.

I've checked the usual culprits and tried clearing my cache, power cycling the router, reinstalling firefox, setting network.http.http3.enable to false in the config, downgrading to v109 (and v108), etc. I am fairly confident it is not my machine nor internet causing the issue at this stage, giving that all other devices and network reliant software works without trouble.

I did see some mention of trying troubleshoot mode, but that did not seem to alleviate the issues I am having.

Any additional insights or suggestions would be appreciated!
