Disappearing Drafts/Sent Mail

Since the last big update, I think this has gotten worse. In addition to a couple other things I don't like/are annoying, messages disappear. (102.6.1 currently, on Windows 10)

I've had my Gmail (IMAP) set up with Thunderbird for a long time, on different laptops as I've had to replace them. It's seemingly random, and I may not notice until I'm wondering why I'm not getting a response, or I wonder did I actually hit Send.

I often start an email but am not ready to send it, so it remains in Draft (is supposed to). I've had longer draft emails disappear (and maybe incoming and Sent emails also). I looked in the gmail All Mail folder and the current missing Draft/Sent message is not in there, nor in either of those two folders. The particular message I'm thinking of has disappeared three times, and each time I've had to start over and look up dates again. It was maybe the equivalent of 2 paragraphs about this size long. But I've also lost a draft that was a lot longer. The only thing that saved me was that I sent a draft copy to someone else, and that Sent message is still there.

For this particular account, there is plenty of Google storage. I have multiple gmail accounts, but it's mostly two of them that I use to send messages from. It's not a case of closing Thunderbird and getting a message about a draft being open and do I want to save it (or some similar wording). It just disappears.
