Can No Longer Trust My Drafts Folder
I often click Send on a message and then move on to another task, not realizing that the message window is still open, perhaps with a spell check issue or something. When i move and/or close other windows that often reveals the message window still open. That's never a real problem; I just fix whatever's wrong and send the message.
The problem comes about when I notice some time later — maybe hours later — that I have outbound emails in my Drafts folder. If I think maybe I already sent it and check my Sent folder, I often find that I DID send the email. But it was never taken out of the Drafts folder when it was sent. I'm concerned about re-sending duplicates, accidentally, giving the impression that I don't know what I'm doing.
This behavior is recent — maybe the last three or weeks or so. Is there anything I can do about it? Is it a bug that showed up in a recent program update perhaps?

I can only share my experience. I use IMAP and found that, when I spent a long time writing a message that multiple copies appeared in draft folder, reflecting the frequency of my setting to save drafts. I resolved the issue by changing the draft to be saved to local drive.
Thanks, David. I'm using POP ... probably not the same.
You're right; it's different. If this only began to happen on an upgrade, you might have a bug to report.
