update and Thunderbird disappeared

Today, October 9, 2022 I clicked on an update for Thunderbird. Now I can't find it anywhere on my computer. It says all shortcuts no longer refer to the account or whatever term they use. Its gone, nothing. I've lost all my emails, everything. Anyway to get anything back?

try reinstalling from thunderbird.net
