including photos from mac in email

Dear TB,

I used to be able to drag and drop photos from Mac Photos into an email being composed, and I would be prompted whether I wanted to include it as inline or an attachment. Now Thunderbird is ignoring my attempt to drag and drop. Any ideas? Did something change?
