I have 4 Gmail accounts accessed through Thunderbird. I see answers to my problem that state T'bird doesn't have the passwords. But as I had to input them so that T'bird could access the accounts, it must have them. None of the given answers accurately describe how to access the passwords with the version I am running; there is no options/security links in the tools section. I am running v91.7 32bit. SO: how do I recover my passwords from that version of T'bird? Thank you.

here is no options/security links in the tools section.

It's Options - Preferences.

Note, if Authentication method is set to OAuth2 in your account settings, then Thunderbird does remember an authentication token, but not the actual account password.

If you lost your Google account password(s) follow the Google instructions for password recovery.
