I have a poor memory and to cope with that I place all of the individuals and organisation I use emails with onto the list that runs down the left hand side of my Thunderbird screen. Is there any sort of, "Find" ability on this application.

I attemped to open the add-on "https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/quick-folder-key-navigation/" but a notice came up stating. "This add-on could not be used because it has not been verified" Regards, Brian M. Leahy

Don't 'open' the add-on. Download the xpi installer (right-click the green button, Save link as...), then TB Tools/Add-ons& Themes, click the gear icon, Install add-on from file, select the xpi file.

I'm an 85 year old retired H.R. Manager without the computer skills that could allow me to make your instructions work. Other organisations are able to create apps that can easily be downloaded but it looks as though I will have to pay my computer man to do this.

Here is another way: open Tools/Add-ons & Themes, type quick folder in the 'Find more add-ons' box, on the next tab, Quick Folder Move is the first result, click Add to Thunderbird.

Right,, I followed the above and think that it worked but I have no idea how to actually use, "FIND" Sorry to be such a pain.

"Shift+G opens a context menu that allows you to navigate to the folder you've entered"

are instructions given on the add-on's page.
