need to downgrade from newest firefox as it's not accepting any old passwords or syncing

I put on the latest upgrade, but now os won't accept any old password and I cannot use sync as I have no access to my logins and passwords. If I choose forgot password , the system will destroy all my logins anyway. I can spend a great amount of time recreating all passwords, or maybe I can downgrade to the last version, but I am unsure as how to do that??
