you may need to use an xp version. Version 43 is for XP. So try this one or maybe a younger one like shown in the pic

Inbetween I find out v.42 is the last one with XP support. (43 works maybe too...) But the more important question ist '"how can I download ANY version !?''''''' All possible clicks on every link guide me not to a download dialog !

OK, I'm sorry. Your link above put me to the right place. I could downoad 42 and 43 version. I'll try to install one wich the OS accept....(?!?!)

you can try any version.

which ever version you choose, it will likely want to be updated to the latest version that is acceptable for the old o.s.

I will. At the moment 4 pc's are working and I have to keep them busy. As soon as I can start HP, I'll try to install one of the downloaded versions.

Ok, I've installed the latest us.42 version. It is working but barely. I think there is a problem with Javascript. Pages look's OK, but login into my mail account present just a white window. At same time I've installed IE 9 and that's a mess. No icons, pictures, just plain text like on a Apache server.... and positions of links cross other entries... horrible!
