I tried to set up a new email program but it says there is an error with with STMP. This is the error: error occurred while sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: cxr-obgw-6002a.stratus.cloudmark.com cmsmtp 174.78.15.215 blocked. I suggest you get a little more aggressive with cox Their server is rejecting your mail. I am sure if they tried at all they could tell you why that was so if you do not understand their explanation at the link (I do not. it is vague to say the least)

What I can tell you is rDNS is used on mail when it is received from another server to validate the sender. So this error appears to be totally inapropriate.

The Reverse DNS (rDNS) lookup for your IP address is failing.
Confirm the IP address that sends your email.
Check the rDNS of that IP address. If it passes, then wait 24 hours and try resending your email.

As you are submitting your mail from your computer using an IP address issued by Cox and they are telling you it has a problem. Perhaps you need to talk to an email specialist at Cox. Someone that actually knows about email, not some script reader that can only tell you what is on the script in front of them as misconfiguration of the Cox SMTP submission server is what you are dealing with.
