Lost connection between Outlook Calendar and Thunderbird with Version 78
I have used Thunderbird for many many years. In recent years, as everyone uses electronic calendars, I have depended upon a linkage between the Outlook Calendar and Thunderbird. This has been through the Lightning add-on. With the updgrade to v78 this has stopped working. What do I do to reconnect these two critical tools?

Install these two add-ons and see if you can add your calendar:

Thank you for this. I installed the two addons, then also seemed to need to add Provider for CalDAV and CardDAV.
I was able to add my account within Provider for CalDAV and CardDAV, which was encouraging. But I feel like there must be some missing step to connect my Outlook account/calendar to these new add-ons. Does that sound potentially correct?
In the TbSync settings, Account actions, Add new account, Exchange ActiveSync, to add an outlook.com calendar or contacts. Works here with a Hotmail account.
The Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV add-on is for syncing with Google, among other services.
