When I click the "Add to browser" option on findfind.it (https://www.findfind.it) it used to ask me whether i want to add a new search provider. Now if I click it nothing happens anymore.

How can I add it to my search engines?

My system is freshly installed Win 10 with firefox being the only program on this computer.

That website uses a feature to add a search engine via JavaScript that is no longer supported.

<button class="btn btn-sm btn-default" onclick="window.external.AddSearchProvider( 'https://' + location.host + '/opensearch' + location.pathname + location.search);">Add to browser</button>

the window.external.AddSearchProvider() function no longer works in Firefox 78+.

Good news: that site also integrates with Firefox's Autodiscovery feature. You can add it from the bottom of the Page Actions menu: click the ••• button in the address bar, and it should be at the bottom. Does that work for you?

(Unfortunately, you just have to check for that when you hope to use it.)

If you have the separate search bar on the Navigation Toolbar then you should see a green plus attached to the search icon and you can click this icon to find the Add item in its drop-down list.
